BSS B.Ed. Training College, Alathur started with a vision of promoting Quality teacher education in 2005. The College is situated at Alathur in Palakkad District of Kerala. The founder of the college is Swami Nirmalananda Yogi (Swamiji) - A Philanthropist, Humanitarian, & a great visionary leader.

BSS B.Ed. Training College established with an aim of creating a paradise on earth by encouraging everyone to develop noble thoughts and emotions which are the most effective means of transformation in human society. Emerging in an individual mind, when shared, they begin to spread and pervade many hearts, minds and intellects. The cohesion and harmony they bring about are verily immense. This is the great message of our Swamiji “MANO JAYA EVA MAHA JAYEVA, AHIMSAIVA PARAMO DHARMA”

History

B.S.S B Ed. Training College is located at Alathur in Palakkad District of Kerala. The institution run with the principles of Brahmananda Swami Sivayogi the Founder of “Ananda Matham “ - the religion of bliss which advocates the importance of pure mind. Being inspired by this doctrine the ardent disciple Swamy Nirmalananda Yogi – established this institution in the year 2005 to instil the great values in the minds of the people along with the Quality Teacher Education to provide better communal Harmony.

BSS Educational Society

BSS Educational Society is a registered Charitable Institution working in the service of humanity for more than past three decades. BSS B Ed Training college, BSS Gurukualm Higher Secondary School, BSS Vanitha College are functioning under this society. It has been incorporated under the Act 21 of Society Registration Act, 1860 with Registration No.118 dated 28.08.1984. Besides that, it is registered Under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961 which enables it to extend 50 percent exemption to its donors from the Income Tax.
